About Many Rivers

I'm Leigh Marie Batchelder.

Through Many Rivers, I tend the thresholds where transformation asks for witness—birth, embodiment, creative emergence.

I work as a birth and postpartum doula, photographer, and guide, meeting people where they are with attention, presence, and heart.

  • I support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum across Southern Vermont, upstate New York, and the Berkshires.

    This work is about presence, skill, and honoring how your unique story unfolds.

  • I shift subtle energies through photography—exploring light and stillness in landscapes, architecture, macro studies, and candid moments.

    Limited edition fine art prints are available through Vermont studios and currently exhibited at local wellness centers.
